Speaker: Dan Holst, Executive VP of Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of WA
Topic: Update on the bills that are being considered by the state legislature and rules/actions by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner. Also discussed will be OIC’s proposed transparency rule, past initiatives to limit the use of credit scoring, new communication requirements between the OIC and producers, changes with prelicensing education requirements, new risk mitigation laws, new tax initiatives, etc.
