Please join the Pacific Northwest Chapter in conjunction with AIG for Wildland Urban Interface Hazards & Mitigation Measures (earn CE credit)

Wildfire season becomes longer and longer each year. More high-end homes are being developed in areas that interface with natural vegetation, also known as “wildland urban interface areas.” As a result, there is increased exposure to wildfires and a greater chance that homes will not be near fire department resources.  Do you know what factors contribute to a wildfire?   You as a risk advisor can assist your clients to protect their family, home, and valuables against a wildfire.  When you meet with your clients, are you asking the important questions to ensure your clients are prepared in the case of an emergency?   Do you check their property to ensure there is enough defensible space?  Trees, juniper bushes or other vegetation that are close enough to the home are highly flammable.

This class is taught by AIG Private Client Group’s Wildland Protection Unit experts focused on the intersection of wildland and HNW homes.

The class is approved in the following states:  AZ, CA, CO, DE, ID, MD, MT, NJ, NM, OR, PA, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WY.
