2024 Summit Release & Waiver
I, am participating in the Private Risk Management Association (PRMA) Summit (the “Summit”), being held October 28-30, 2024 in Arlington, Texas.
I understand completion of this agreement is required for me participate in the Summit, and is separate and independent of any other forms, waivers, or other documents that may be required for participation.
By registering for and attending the PRMA Summit, registrants agree to the perpetual use and distribution of their image or voice in recordings, photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes by PRMA and other third parties. These recordings become the exclusive property of PRMA for any purposes in its sole discretion without need for specific permission. Registration may include technology that captures attendee activities throughout the meeting, such as session attendance and exhibit booth visits.
You also consent to your contact information being shared with sponsors and partners for networking and promotional purposes.
I understand that participation in the Summit may involve physical activity and I understand that participation in some of these activities may include a risk of injury and/or death. I acknowledge that I am in a physical condition to participate in these activities and that I am responsible for monitoring my own physical condition. I understand the risk of these activities and I assume the risks of these activities, including that there are some risks that may be unknown or unforeseeable. In the event that I am injured or any property is damaged by my participation in these activities, or at the Summit, provided that it is not due to the recklessness or intentional actions of the parties, I agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless PRMA, its agents, employees, directors, officers and assigns, PRMA’s sponsors and the venue hosting the event, along with its agents, employees, directors, officers and assigns, for any injury which may arise at the Summit.
I agree to conduct myself according to the following rules at the Summit.
- All PRMA Summit attendees are required to maintain the highest standards of respect and professionalism. Attendees are expected to be punctual for sessions, participate actively, and minimize disruptions, showing respect for speakers. Attendees should conduct themselves professionally in the Exhibit hall and at all networking events, focusing on building genuine professional relationships;
- Confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the conference must be respected, and attendees shall be mindful of others' privacy;
- Responsible alcohol consumption is mandatory, and the use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited;
- Attendees will refrain from attempting to recruit, solicit for employment or otherwise poach professionals from other employers during the Summit;
- While at the Summit, I agree to abide by the PRMA Harassment Policy available here, and to follow all health guidance as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
I understand that this waiver and release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as allowable in the State where the Summit takes place or the State of venue for any action. If any portion of this Agreement is found to be invalid, then the remaining portion hereof will continue in full force and effect.
The terms of this agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.
I attest that I have fully read and understand all provisions of this agreement and understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, and have signed it freely and voluntarily without inducement, assurance or guarantee being made to me, and intend my signature to be binding.
