Download PDF Overview
The ACPRIA program is a two-year program that provides an opportunity to further your knowledge and raise your professional profile within the High Net Worth (HNW) risk management specialty.
The program endorsed by the Tobin Center for Executive Education of St. John’s University in conjunction with St. John’s School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science consists of two parts, each a thought-leader assignment designed to enhance intellectual curiosity and knowledge of risk exposures and solutions specific to HNW personal risk management.
In part one, candidates will work remotely as part of a team assigned a topic that presents challenges to the HNW Risk Management Specialty. The team will research the topic and make recommendations that will better the current state. The results of the assignment should bring enlightenment and value to HNW P&C specialists and develop meaningful findings.
In part two, candidates will select a research topic of personal interest and HNW industry relevance, then write a White Paper. Completed papers will be posted on the PRMA website to serve as learning tools for all members. Some may also be selected for submission to publications related to financial advice and services to the HNW.
Acceptance into the program requires the CPRIA Certification, submission of an application, and an essay outlining why the candidate seeks to pursue the Advanced CPRIA coursework. Please apply here.
