About our speakers:
Kevin Aikman
Kevin Aikman is Vice President, Head of Risk Management Services in the US, for AIG Private Client Group, a division of the member companies of American International Group, Inc. (AIG).    Kevin oversees a team of more than 30 Risk Management Specialists throughout the US. His team consults with clients to help maximize safety and reduce the losses that could result from a natural disaster and other perils.
 
Kevin has extensive experience in both personal and commercial risk management with 25 years of industry experience and holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.   Kevin is also a former New York State certified internal Firefighter.  Kevin joined AIG in 1992 as a complex claims analyst.  In 1997 Kevin joined AIU’s International operations and worked on a team charged with the re-engineering of AIU’s claims operation in Thailand.   After the completion of this project Kevin re-joined the AIG Risk Management Group and Underwrote large corporate accounts.
 
Prior to entering the insurance industry Kevin held various positions in the construction and building materials industries.  Throughout his career, Kevin has demonstrated the ability to work with customers to improve processes that deliver outstanding results.  His high interaction with clients has provided him with the tools to assess the customer’s needs and deliver results that meet or exceed their expectations. Over the years Kevin has also built a rapport with a litany of subject matter experts in the areas of loss prevention, construction management, residential construction and interior design. His frequent communication with these experts ensures that any client or agent who works with Kevin will always have the best in professional service available to them. He is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology, and holds a BS in economics and business administration.
